Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us:

• Internship applications: name, email address, phone number, college or university, course and branch, current year or semester, student ID, and a resume or portfolio link.
• Contact form and emails: your name, email address and the message you send us.
• If you are selected for an internship or trial: the details we need for your written agreement and onboarding, such as your date of birth, address, PAN and the last four digits of your Aadhaar number, plus the hours you work and your activity on the systems we give you (see "Monitoring of work systems" below).
• Basic technical data: if we use analytics or similar tools, we may receive general information such as browser type, device and pages visited. We will not use this to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

• To review your internship application and contact you about it.
• To reply to your enquiries.
• To set up and run an internship or trial, including working out any stipend or trial fee from the hours you work and issuing certificates.
• To consider you for a future role with us.
• To keep this website, our systems and our clients' information secure and working properly.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including tax.

Consent

By submitting a form on this website you agree to us processing the information you provide for the purposes described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us, though this may mean we can no longer consider your application. If you sign an internship or trial agreement with us, you also agree to the personal data terms in that agreement.

Monitoring of work systems

If you work with us as an intern or trial candidate, we may log and monitor activity on the accounts, repositories and systems we give you, such as sign-ins, access records and code commits, to keep them secure and to check compliance. Your access lasts only for your internship or trial and is switched off when it ends.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only with people and services that help us run our business, such as email, hosting and recruitment tools, and only as far as needed for that purpose. We may also disclose information where the law or a government authority requires it. These providers are expected to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

How long we keep it

We keep application details for as long as needed to complete our selection process and for a reasonable period afterwards in case we need to contact you or meet legal requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise them. Records of internship and trial agreements, hours and payments may be kept longer where the law requires, for example for tax and accounts.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to give you a summary of the information we hold about you, correct or update it, or delete it, and you may withdraw your consent. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our internship programme is for students of a college or university. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to your application and to us processing your personal data, and must also sign your Internship Agreement. We may ask for proof of this before an internship starts. We do not knowingly collect a child's information without that consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
